Care Awards 2016 Birmingham 
Prime Purchasing were delighted to sponsor the Birmingham Care Awards 2016. Both directors of Prime Purchasing, Cindy Passey and Stephen Roberts were very proud to attend the evening event at the world famous Edgebaston Cricket Ground, and proud to be involved with the event which aims to acknowledge, celebrate and reward excellence in care delivery across the whole health and social care spectrum, for both adults and children. 
Stephen Roberts, Sales Director of Prime Purchasing Organisation presented an award for Meaningful Activities within the care sector and the photos can be seen below. 
Prime Purchasing Organisation became involved with the awards as we work alongside a number of care homes and other businesses in Birmingham to offer a free professional procurement solution to their business saving them time and money on high spend items such as groceries, fresh meat, fresh produce, frozen products, local meat deliveries, janitorial, catering equipment, utilities and uniforms. We specialise in providing best quality products at competitive prices for our customers while delivering excellent customer care. 
Prime Purchasing Organisation is very proud to be in partnership with African Safari Experience, working together with a Childrens Centre in Lusaka, Zambia. The mission offers a safe place for orphans and other vulnerable children in the community by providing care, support and protection through shelter, food and education. 
Currently making a difference to 150 children, providing food for them throughout the week. Local well wishers participate in providing food for some of the school-going children but they can't feed all of them. 
We have set up a child sponsorship scheme for people who want to donate £10 a month which will feed a child for the whole month. We currently have 25 sponsors who are making a huge difference to these children's lives. Our aim is for all of the children to have a sponsor one day.
